This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
Kids Logic:
- Mermaids live in the ocean. I like mermaids. They are beautiful and I like their shiny tails, but how on earth do mermaids get pregnant? Like, really? (Helen, age 6)
- I'm not going to write about the ocean. My baby brother is always crying, my Dad keeps yelling at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can't think what to write. (Amy, age 6)
- Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers. (Christopher, age 7)
- When you go swimming in the ocean, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin, age 6)
- Divers have to be safe when they go under the water. Divers can't go down alone, so they have to go down on each other. (Becky, age 8)
- On vacation my Mom went water skiing. She fell off when she was going very fast. She says she won't do it again because water fired right up her big fat butt. (Julie, age 7)
- The ocean is made up of water and fish. Why the fish don't drown I don't know. (Bobby, age 6)
- My dad was a sailor on the ocean. He knows all about the ocean. What he doesn't know is why he quit being a sailor and married my mom. (James, age 7)

I love these. You never know what's going to come out of the mouth of a child.
ReplyDeleteTheir perception amazes me to no end. :)
DeleteLOL kids can be so funny :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a tanfastic day Sandee :-)
Especially if they belong to someone else. :)
DeleteHeeheehee! Always be careful what you say in front of children, all ears and no filters. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteYep, all ears and no filters. :)
DeleteDon't you just love the words that come out of the kid's mouths. Too funny. Sandee, you and Zane have a most wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYes I do. They are most entertaining. :)
DeleteWhomever it was that made up the say, 'out of the mouths of babes' really knew what they were talking about. ;)
ReplyDeleteYes they did. They really believe what they are saying too. :)
Delete" When you go swimming in the ocean, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin, age 6) " Hey Kevin, when you get older, your willy will get bigger especially when it gets colder. Mine always done. Ha,ha,ha. Sorry about that. I just had to say that.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday Sande & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
PS I received your card. Thank you. My daughter had to open my card because she was wondering, who would send me a card from California. When I went to have my breakfast, she asked me, dad, who do you know in California? I said a girlfriend. That shut her up. Ha,ha,ha. Zane, I never really met Sandee. Are we OK? LOL See ya.
I'm glad you got the card, but you're giving your daughter a hard time. I did address it to you and Mary Lou. Just saying. :)
DeleteKids say the darndest things :)
ReplyDeleteYes they do and so very often too. :)
DeleteI am picturing Art Linkletter.
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect picture. I loved that show. :)
DeleteThe wisdom of children goes on for generations.
ReplyDeleteYes it does Jan, yes it does. :)
DeleteDUH! This post answered its own question. Mermaids live in the cold ocean where mermaids' mates get their small willys into microscopically small places that the naked eye can't see. SQUAAAAAWK! Forget Google, Siri and Cortana. The Answer Parrot knows.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahahaahaha. I knew there was a reasonable answer. I should have asked the answer parrot. :)
DeleteChildren from 4 to 8 are hilarious, they come up with things we never even think of. These are so funny, Sandee! Thank you so much for sharing. :D
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome Linda. Kids make me laugh all the time. :)
Deleteoh hahah kids do say the darndest things! I bet you are having a lovely day today! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis was a travel day Kathe. We are home and the laundry is in. Mexican for dinner, and then some wine later. It's a great day.
DeleteI never knew the ocean had so many tales to tell.
ReplyDeleteApparently it does though. Well according to some of these kids. :)
DeleteOh so funny! Kids are pretty darn entertaining.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Yes they can and they believe every word they are saying. :)
DeleteIt's like "kids say the darndest things." Quite funny.
