Attitude

Fran & Marlo Cowan (married 62 years in 2008 when this was taken) playing impromptu recital together in the atrium of the Mayo Clinic. That piano captures just one part of what makes the Mayo Clinic so remarkable. It’s a place where people come not only to be healed and made whole physically, but spiritually as well. Around that piano we come together as an ad hoc family -- a community of people on different, but similar journeys – to heal together and share what brings us hope and joy.

It's all in your attitude!

  1. Oh Sandee, that video made me smile some kind of big this morning. They were just terrific. There was a piano in the Cancer center where I went and every once in a while someone would play which was great. Thanks Sandee. Sandee, you and Zane, you have a most wonderful day.

  2. I have seen this and adore it. I hope that is what my husband and I look like after 62 years married. Although neither of us play piano very well, but busting a move (much to our children's chagrin) is something we can do :)

  11. Everything begins with attitude.
    Hence my favorite quote:
"A positive attitude may not solve all of you problems, but it will irritate enough people to make it worthwhile."

  18. What a great way to begin my day! I especially smiled at the love pats they gave each other. Hubby and I do the same. Sadly, neither of us can play the piano, but we can operate a radio quite well.

    Big hugs, honey...
