CP Schedule

I've been posting every single day for a very long time. Years in fact. I'm tired and am going to change up my posting.

For now I'm going to do the following posts:

Silly Sunday, Awww Mondays, Wordless Wednesday, Feline Friday and Seymour (pet-rock) and his buddy Element until they return home the first of September. I'm burnt out.

So for a change you don't have to swing by each day. Just now and then and you are all invited to participate in all the memes. See you tomorrow for Feline Friday.

  1. I think we all need some time off once in a while. Once we get burnt out, blogging will not be a pleasure but a pressure! Look forward to your posts.

    1. I feel less pressure already. It's three days a week this month I don't have to worry about posts and next month it will be four days. I'm loving this so far. :)

  3. So glad you aren't giving up all together. I think that is a great idea. Sometimes I do get sick of posting every day. So we understand. Sandee, you and Zane have a fun day.

    1. There are so many other things that need doing. I'm going to start doing those things too. :)

  4. It's hard to do it every single day. I can only manage it for the April A to Z Challenge, and then I didn't even do it daily this year. Blogging is supposed to be fun, so set a schedule that keeps it fun for you.

  5. I was wondering when you would make the change. Just like you I was writing my blog everyday with many ideas but was to much and that's why I write every certain day and I'm able to give more of myself. Good idea Sandee. That way it will give you a chance to fix your batteries.
Have a wonderful Thursday my good friend and say hi to Zane. See ya.

  6. Time for a break girl. As you may know I have numerous sites and for a long time I've tried to post on most daily. No longer attempt that---just too much for this old half-senile fart! Not saying you're old Sandee or senile, but certainly understand. Enjoy the days off, away from that keyboard!

    1. I'm old, but not senile yet. I just need a break from this keyboard. :)

  7. You just need new categories like Thoughtless Thursday, Sadistic Saturday and Me-Tuesday.

    1. Although I always have something to say, I only post when I feel that the content would be interesting to others. I don't post on a schedule or post to get "something" published. I'm stress free.

  10. I hear ya! On Dakota's blog, lately I have been lucky if I am posting once a week, (this week I have yet to post on his blog). For Cody's, I only commit to THREE posts per week (often there are more, but not always) My days I shoot for are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I like to give people a break from visiting every day. I am also starting a part time job TODAY outside of the home, so I won't have as much time to visit as I used to. xoxoxoxo Love you! catchatwithcarenandcody

  11. I've always been amazed at how frequently you post. I can see why you're a bit burnt out. I'm selfishly glad you're going to keep doing a few of my favorite days like Aww Monday, WW and Feline Friday.

  14. I fully understand, dear Sandee, and support your decision. Up until February of this year I was posting on a daily basis but after my long and deep depression of February I didn't post at all for a while. When I did come back to blogging I decided to post only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and this was a good decision for me. Sending you many hugs and much love.

  15. Just checking and you've been at this for a decade now. We've been commenting on each others blog for nine years (I had BrainFreeze before Driller's Place). That's a lot of blogging and it is time to slow down just a bit. I have never posted daily except to the Christmas Music Marathon and I've even taken a couple of days out of my schedule recently. I only post Ruby Tuesdays and Skywatch Fridays when I really have something worthwhile. I no longer go on photo hunts for red stuff and special skies. Since this is normally where your Thankful Thursday resides, let me just say that I am thankful for this blog and it's author. Have a very blessed week-end.
