I'm thankful that on Saturday I cried in front of a bunch of people because I was talking about the loss of our beloved Little Bit. It wasn't the tears that make me thankful, it was the precious time we had with her. Not tears of joy, but thankfulness that we were lucky to share her life.
I'm thankful for our safe journeys to and from our destinations. We see so many accidents and are so very careful when we drive. There seems to be so much anger with some folks while they are driving.
I'm thankful that hubby and I made it though our law enforcement careers without much fanfare. We can't imagine working in that field today with all the abuse and hatred shown to law enforcement by so many. It's okay to be a thug, but not okay to protect and serve. I just don't get that.
I'm thankful for living in a place where there is more good weather than bad. We have a couple months of winter and then spring is back and we start over with the good weather. Fall has some really great weather as does our spring.
I'm thankful that hubby and I enjoy so many like interests. Some marriages seem that both are not on the same page, but not even in the same book. That's not the case with us.
What are you thankful for today?
