Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Odds and Ends:

A father was approached by his small son who told him proudly, "I know what the Bible means!" "Okay," said his father. "What does the Bible mean?""That's easy, Daddy...." the young boy replied excitedly," It stands for 'Basic Information Before Leaving Earth.'"

There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to her brother in another part of the country. "Is there anything breakable in here?" asked the postal clerk. "Only the Ten Commandments." answered the lady.

Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning, Lord," and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good Lord, it's morning."

  7. I've always said "Good morning, Lord," since I survived my stroke. I was suppose to pass away but I guess I was needed so each morning I say "Good morning, Lord," and before I go to sleep, I also say " Good night Lord and thank you."
Have a wonderful, relaxful Sunday Sandee. See ya.

  11. It's the Vegas employees' lament about certain groups who hold conventions there. The participants arrive with a bible containing the 10 commandments and a 10 dollar bill. When they leave, neither have been broken.
