    1. It's bright and sunny here this morning too and it's cold. It's 41 degrees. I know it's short sleeve weather when it's that warm. :)

    2. My youngest spent her freshman year at the University of Alabama and her dorm was near a lake. Watching and feeding the ducks and ducklings eased her homesickness. All babies are great fun... OK, maybe not cobra babies, but you get the gist ;)

    3. I agree that most babies make us smile. And let us not forget about the spiders. I can do without those too. :)

    4. I hear you. I don't know how they get in, but THIS is how we treat spider babies in our pool enclosure. There's no 'cute' clause in their prosecution.

  9. Soft, fluffy baby ducklings always make me smile. There is an expression here in New Zealand for adorable things, "It's like a box of fluffy ducks."

  18. I love watching ducks. My old house used to back up to a small man made lake. It was fun to watch the mallards chase the girls in the spring and watch the babies grow up. At 5:00 eac night they'd come up to my patio for some feed corn.
