Weirdness

A man from Little Rock, Arkansas was awarded $14,500 and medical expenses after being bitten on the buttocks by his next door neighbors beagle. The beagle was on a chain in its owners fenced-in yard, as was the man. The award was less than sought because the jury felt that the man who, at the time, was shooting the animal repeatedly with a pellet gun might have provoked the dog.

'Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.' Albert Einstein

'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.' Albert Einstein

'I read somewhere that 77 per cent of all the mentally ill live in poverty. Actually, I'm more intrigued by the 23 per cent who are apparently doing quite well for themselves.' Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead)

  10. What is stupid is awarding a guy an money at all for getting bit by a dog under those circumstances. If that's for real, I'm amazed!

  14. Ha! I agree with Ann! Where is the Beagle's rights. Stupid people out there...well, he'll get his. Karma is a bitch and what comes around, goes around...getting his arse bitten was only the beginning of his ill fortune.

I love both Einstein quotes - and completely agree!

Wishing you a fab weekend, Sandee! xoxoxo
