The Handbag

A lady lost her handbag in the bustle of Christmas shopping. It was found by an honest little boy and returned to her. Looking in her purse, she commented, "Hmmm.... That's funny. When I lost my bag there was a $20 bill in it. Now there are twenty $1 bills."

The boy quickly replied, "That's right, lady. The last time I found a lady's purse, she didn't have any change for a reward."

  2. He's certainly the clever little one. Makes you wonder though since he's found a lost purse before if he doesn't have a hand in helping these little old ladies lose their purses to begin with :)

  10. Funny joke. He must have a waitress or waiter for a parent. They never give you big bills in change so you don't have an excuse for not tipping.

    1. Back when I parked cars as a third job I only ever received two tips. One was a quarter from a State (Nebraska) Senator who gave me a quarter. I didn't tell him and have regretted not saying ever since, that my mother had worked for him at his State office for a couple of years.
:) Guess I didn't look that much like Mom. But I liked his tip. The other guy at another day gave me two quarters.
