Fragments

Tonight we celebrate our youngest granddaughters birthday. We're all meeting for dinner at her choice of restaurants to enjoy good food and great company. It seems like it was yesterday when the grand-kids were small and now one is grown and on her own the the other is a senior in high school.

Our oldest granddaughter and her honey love coming to our marina and boating on our little runabout. They have been all over the Delta and are having a blast. They were with us last weekend and will again be with us next weekend. Then one more weekend in October and then the little boat gets put away for the winter. It gets too cold to venture very far.

We are not going on the bay cruise this year. It will be the first time in a long time that we've not gone. Our Little Bit says it's too far for her and we've listened. She is more important than a cruise to San Francisco. We will not leave her with someone else either. She is happy about this decision. She's an old girl that needs to just rest and not be stressed.

Life is good. Hubby and I enjoy every moment and intend to do so until the end. You just have to roll with the punches and we do that. Life is precious and so very short. We are making the most of every day we are given. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
