Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that.

So here's this weeks question: What is one of your favorite summer meals?
I love cold salads during the hot months of the summer, and one of my favorites is Asian Chicken Salad.

  6. Oh I love salads and that Asian Chicken salad is one of my favorites too. Pasta salad is good too. I don't like to cook in all the heat. We have air conditioning but not much of it.
Have a great Wednesday Sandee, Zane and Little Bit.

  10. My favorite summertime meal is steak on the grill, macaroni salad, corn on the cob ... and for dessert, strawberry shortcake. Wow! Now I have absolutely no interest in making that meatloaf I was going to make later today. :)

  11. The dish known as Curd Rice or Bagalabath in Southern India is my favorite during summer. It is made of plain rice with cold curd mixed with cream and garnished with green pepper fine -cuts and mustard (to make it spicy). Pine apple cuts or black grapes are added for flavor. Curd rice cools your body.

  21. Since I'm late for lunch today by a couple of hours I will have to say what my fare was and will be.
Eight saltine crackers topped with cottage cheese, either a turkey sandwich, a two-wiener hot dog, or a couple of corn dogs. A Diet Coke or a coffee and perhaps some chips and salsa.
That is about my favorite for summer lunch. Winter is the same but might include a cup's a meal of instant Ramin noodle soup with more shrimp added. 5-p

  22. My husband loves to grill and BBQ. The last thing he grilled was a pork tenderloin which he basket weaved with bacon. It really is a beautiful thing to behold and tastes even better. Rice pilaf, salad, grilled brussel sprouts, and tomato sauce stewed green beans rounded out the dinner. Nobody had room for desert that night.
