Wisdom

If you're too open minded, your brains will fall out.

Age is a very high price to pay for maturity.

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you a mechanic.

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.

Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

It is easier to get forgiveness than permission.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite government program.

If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip.

Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of checks.

A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good.

Eat well, stay fit, die anyway.

  1. All too true, and most pretty funny. Although there are days when I am not sure I got the maturity, just the age :)

  3. I don't know who that woman is in my passport or drivers license photos. She looks like a surprised, escaped convict. I take her with me anyway.

  9. These are all so good it was hard to pick a favorite, but, I loved these "Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity," "If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before," and "Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious."

    Your posts are such fun.

Have a great Tuesday Sandee, and thanks for the smile.

  10. I couldn't stop laughing with some of those statements. I think that this one is me," My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance" and this one, " If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip." I keep telling that to my wife, I need more trips because my photo looks like a convict. Have a great day my friend. See ya.

  18. I love all of these. Especially "Eat well, stay fit, die anyway." I've known so many people who lived a healthy life and died young...and so many people who drank, ate poorly, smoked, and lived it up and lived to their 70s, 80s, and 90s!
