Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: Do you wake up ready and raring to go or does it take some time to get your motor running?
Give me coffee, and give me some quiet. Don't expect me to do anything that's difficult until I'm awake. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour and then watch out.

  1. that would depend on what day of the week it is. Monday through Friday I'm a bit slow but Saturday and Sunday is a whole different story

    1. I can so relate to working and having a different attitude about getting up each morning. :)

  2. Its the later for me, but I feel even if you are rearing to go, its better to relax and go through your motions slowly especially in the morning.(unless you are in a tearing hurry to catch that train)

    1. I like the slow start as well. I spent to many years rushing every morning to get to work on time. :)

  3. It take sometime for me to get me going..I often look at the clock half awake then jumped out of bed-realizing I am already late :) and that happens EVERY SINGLE WORKING DAY :D

    1. I used to be. Mornings still rock, but they are much nicer now that I don't work anymore. :)

  5. well a bit of both, i make the bed when my feet hit the floor and i straighten up in the bathroom/bedroom before i come out of it but then it's coffee, computer, feet up, perhaps a piece of toast, and just enjoy myself. roche' is a verrryyy slow starter!

    1. Roche is indeed very slow. Bless his heart. He was slow here too. Just lays around like a rock. :)

  6. I used to be able to get up and get going right away but not any more. It takes a while for everything to start working. But the cats see to it that I get going as fast as possible. After all, they haven't eaten in a while. Happy day to Sandee, Zane and Little Bit.

  8. Once I'm out of bed, make the bed, take a shower, shave, brush my teeth and wanting to eat and especially the coffee I'm ready to go but before that moment, I'm still wanting to sleep. Now on the cruise, now that is another thing. Have a fantastic Wednesday Sandee.

  9. I am up 3 to 4 times with a baby, so nothing works really well right away. Once I actually get out of bed though and have had a few minutes it's good.

    1. I so remember getting up to tend to the baby several times a night. Moms seem to get it together nicely every morning. :)

  10. Up and at 'em. I wake up when I've had enough sleep. No alarm clock in more than 30 years. Best thing I ever did,

Have a perfect day honey! big hugs xoxo

    1. I don't need an alarm clock either. I know you go to bed early and get up just as early. :)

  11. It depends. If I need to I can get up and go. If I don't have anything important to do, I will lounge around, or stay in bed a bit longer, especially in winter when the room is cold.

  12. How I start the morning determines my whole day. If I hit the internet first thing and bounce around aimlessly,, I have a restless, shiftless sort of ADD all day. If I can manage one cup of coffee while simply looking out at the ocean or chatting with my wife, I'm perfect.

It's hard though. Shouldn't be but my addictive/obsessive personality takes over!

  13. It generally takes me a while to get going. I need coffee and a bit of quiet time to read or just enjoy my coffee and then after about an hour I am ready to start on my day.

  21. My motor doesn't start running until it's nearly time for bed. I'm so not a morning person but get up at 5am or before and drag butt every day. Maybe it's the job that causes it. Hmmm.

Hope you and Little Bit have a wonderful day!

  22. While i am a morning person, i do need a routine, and part of that is coffee. If i have to, i can be ready to go as soon as i get up, but i prefer my warm up routine.

    1. I too have to have my coffee. I get up, take my medicine, go get the paper while Little Bit looks for a place to potty and then it's the paper and coffee. Quiet time. :)

  23. I'm not a morning person. Never have been. I'm up early most mornings, but I do so reluctantly. I consider coffee the finest organic suspension ever devised.
