Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: For those that celebrate Easter what are your plans?
Hubby and I usually go to Easter brunch at Encinal Yacht Club, but this year we are going to just stay home. We don't really celebrate Easter.

  1. No plans whatsoever. My daughter asked if I was having a dinner and my answer to her was "yes, I have a dinner every day"

  3. When we lived in Florida I always went to Sunrise Service. It's too cold for that where we live now, so I go to the regular church service, come home and hubby hides eggs, the kids find 'em, and we have a big family dinner complete w/hubs' family. :)

    1. Well with kids you have to do the Easter egg hunt. I know I always did. My mom was big on Easter and we used to go there for the big dinner mid-afternoon. :)

  9. Easter is a special day at my house. My parents always had a special dinner for the family on Easter and now that my parents are no longer with us, I'm the person to carry on the Easter tradition. I'm cooking dinner for my family and my good friends will be joining us and after dinner the grandchildren will be having an Easter egg hunt. Have a great happy day Sandee. See ya.

    1. It's good that you are carrying on the tradition. Hubby and I did for Thanksgiving and Christmas for year. We are passing that along this year. :)

  13. No plans at the moment- my sweet niece is coming Friday with her family not sure if they will stay til Sunday- if they do we'll dye eggs and have fun- but no- we don't celebrate Easter. We had a lovely Passover dinner with friends on Monday however we're not religious in any sense of the word- we just believe in the Golden Rule. That's good enough for us.

    1. We are about the same. We believe there is a higher power. We are more spiritual than religious. The Golden Rule is a good thing. :)

  21. Now that my son's a grown-up person, I think I will stay home, read, write, and relax.
I know you guys are planning on staying home this year, but the Easter brunch at Encinal Yacht sounds like fun. I like to think of you on ya'lls boat. (Sorry, about the word 'ya'll', sometimes my New Orleans accent pops off my writing voice.) Anyway, It makes me happy to imagine you getting away, and I love boats.

    Love you too-

Great Question- I'm sorry I'm late.
