Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: Do you prefer a quiet night in or an evening on the town?
When I was young it was always a night on the town, but hubby and I are homebodies now. We do go out to yacht club functions, but we are usually the first to head to our boat. Our usual bedtime is around 10.

  2. D'oh! The only time I ever go out is when I'm on a cruise. And even then I'm often in by 7:30 with a few piano bar night exceptions. Gee, I wish I had a cruise booked. :)

Have a fabulous day! big hugs xoxo

  8. We prefer a quiet time at home at night, though when on a cruise, we are out and about the ship until midnight. Then it's sleep time until the next day.
" When I was young", you must be kidding Sandee you have to be still young if not young at heart like me. Zoom, zoom. Have a wonderful Wednesday Sandee. See ya.

  10. As taking all of the children out on the town would be wreaking too much destruction on the rest of humanity, I think I should opt for nights in :)

  13. I love having dinner out- but that's as far as it goes- staying out til the birds are waking up is not my druthers any more. Give me a quiet night by the fire with my sweetie any time!

  17. We're quiet night people. Hubby is a huge early riser, so nighttime stuff is a challenge for us. He's usually sacked out by 8-9pm.

  19. I've always been a night owl. I figure I'll sleep when I die. I have to moderate this viewpoint because my husband loves his sleep. Sometimes we roll my way and sometimes we roll his way. It has worked for 30+ years.

  23. I enjoy going out with my friends but probably enjoy a quiet night in more often. This time of year I don't leave the house so it takes a lot of work to get presentable enough to go out!

Hope you had a wonderful day Sandee! Scritches to Little Bit!

  25. I alternate based on the type of day I have. I usually get home pretty tired after work, so heading out for a night on the town is a no-go. In fact, once I cross the doorstep, I don't leave for the rest of the night.

But every once in a while, I like a good night on the town, although I haven't had too man of those lately.

Have a fabulous quiet evening home. :)

  26. Up until age 35 I loved to go out and party. These days if I'm not home for my shows at 7:30 I start to die a little inside. "Jeopardy's on, definitely going to miss Jeopardy!" - That was my best Rainman voice which is apt because I've basically turned into Rainman.

  30. I've always been a homebody. Most evenings I'm watching something on Netflix or reading. Going out usually means going out to dinner or visiting friends, but usually nothing crazy.
