Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: What is your favorite soup?
When setting this post up I was thinking about soup. Since most of the U.S. is freezing (except for Florida), I thought comfort food would be a good topic. I have a couple of favorite soups. Clam Chowder tops the list, but I also love a good southwest chicken soup. Okay, I'm off to get some soup.

    Now I'm hungry! :-)

I don't like any cold soup. My wife's chicken soup is pretty good also. I guess I went overboard in my chose. Sorry, but I enjoy hot soup. See ya Sandee.

  24. I love soup - despite living in Florida, where it never seems to be really, really cold. My favorite is any kind of lentil soup, preferably made in the crock pot. High in fiber, low in fat, and inexpensive - what's not to like?

The running joke in our house is that every time there's lentil soup more than twice in a week, Mama's saving up for some sort of camera equipment. :-)

  28. All my favorite soups are homemade. I love to take a great hambone and make split pea or navy bean soup. Yum! I love to take fresh tomatoes in the summer and make tomato soup; so comforting to take out of the freezer in winter. My absolute favorite might be chicken enchilada soup. Darn it, down to the kitchen/crock pot I go.
