Fragments

We are currently enjoying a weekend at Marina West Yacht Club. Hubby and I arrived at our boat Thursday and cruised over to the yacht club on Friday. It's our favorite way to celebrate Valentines Day. We have not been to our boat in over a month. Way too long.

We have our new fence up and it's paid for. Wow, what a difference. The two neighbors behind us have their side fence propped up with 2X4s and I'm guessing they'll be replacing their fences too.

I am done with physical therapy and I'm on my own. I'll do the work necessary to make sure that surgery is not in the mix. I was very fortunate to pick a great place for physical therapy. What a great group of folks that were there to help you succeed. Daily feedback too and that's so very important. My visit to Dr. Cash lasted less than a minute. He said congratulations on all the hard work and if you need me in the future give me a call. He said I was the easiest visit he's had in a long time. Woo hoo, no surgery for me.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. We'll be heading back home on Sunday as we have business to attend to on Monday.

  4. The Doctor bill for that minute was a lot. That's why they call him Dr. Cash. Enjoy your health.

  14. I know you are relieved about not having to go under the knife. And I do envy your time on the boat---even a bad day on a boat is better than a good one on land!

  15. You know physical therapy and where you go - who does it makes a huge difference. I am glad that you are doing so well.

  16. Good to hear your PT worked so well and that you're pretty much back to normal. You wouldn't be boating here though, with everything still frozen over!

  17. Hi Sandy ~~ Great news from your Doc. I know you liked that, so do I for you. :)
Good too on being back to the boat. We should use hobby things that we have. Tell me that about my Ford Mustangs, they have been getting neglected the whole year so far. Glad too that your fence is up. We can't have board fences here when we live on the golf course because the people on the streets and the neighbors like to see it.

  21. You are a good example! You did the hard work that was advised and it paid off with not needing surgery. Many people would have not followed through with the advice and then suffered the consequences. I see that every day. People are full of excuses.

Glad you are feeling better before the spring and summer. Now you can enjoy the boat all the more!

    Peace and love! :-)
