Old Man Joe

Old man Joe limped into the doctor's office and said, "Doctor, my knee hurts so bad, I can hardly walk!"

The doctor slowly eyed him from head to toe, paused and then said, "Mr. Joe, just how old are you?"

"Ninety-Eight!" Joe announced proudly.

The doctor just sighed, and looked at him again. Finally he said, "Sir, I'm sorry. I mean, just look at you. You're practically one hundred years old, and you're complaining that your knee hurts? Well, what did you expect?"

The old Joe said, "Well, my other knee is 98 years old too, and it don't hurt!"

  2. I am with Joe, just because we are old, why does everything have to hurt. Guess that is why we have two of most things, so if one hurts, you still have a good one. Take care Sandee and you and Zane have a terrific day.

  5. My one bad knee gives me fits sometimes and I always think how grateful I am that the other one doesn't hurt like that. Maybe I should think more like Joe and expect neither to hurt! I don't think that's gonna work out for me though.

Have a perfect day, Sandee! I know I will! big hugs xoxo

  8. Old Joe certainly has the correct idea here! If one knee doesn't hurt the other should not either, they are both the same age.
