Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: What was one of your favorite sitcoms growing up?
Bewitched was a favorite. As a teenager I so wanted to twitch my nose and make my life perfect.

  3. That is hard to remember that far back. I Love Lucy. I am sure there were others, but can't remember at this moment. There were some good ones back then. Take care.

  4. I think that as a kid, I was more interested in watching Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel, The Rifleman, etc. than I was in comedy.

  5. I'm laughing because last week I had the "baby Tabitha" music in my head as earworm last week. Loved Bewitched! I guess mine would be Gilligan's Island. Loved the episode when they found the seeds and Mrs. Howell ate all those sugar beets.

  8. There were many shows way back when that I loved to watch. I am not sure if I can pick just one favorite. The Andy Griffith Show ranks as a top favorite along with I Love Lucy.

  10. Wow! Tough one! I liked I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, The Waltons... But I loved The Partridge Family. Loved the music & wanted to be in a band just like them ... and besides all that, David Cassidy was really super HOT back then. Even had a poster! :) Thanks for the memories, Sandee!

  12. I don't remember watching lots of sitcoms but it must have been Full House. That's the only one I really remember actually watching. Family Matters too.

  13. As a "grownup" my all-time favorite TV show is still M*A*S*H. They just did it so well, year after year after year. Funny, serious, irreverant, profound, sad, horror, silly... they did it all. I'm not sure another show will ever come along to knock it off the pedistal.

As a teenager I was glued to the TV whenever The Monkees were on. My first crush was Mike Nesmith and I still remember him fondly... and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Have yourself a perfect day. I'm still struggling with getting my web site back up. I fix it. I break it again. I fix it. I break it again. I fix it. I break it again. SO much fun. NOT. Big hugs xoxo

  14. LOL - This one gives away my age: Gilligan's Island, the Brady Bunch, and as a teen: The Partridge Family.

  15. I watched reruns of Bewitched and I Love Lucy but also watched Brady Bunch and Gilligan's island. Don't know which would be a favorite though.

  18. I don't remember a favorite but there were so many good ones back then. 3 channels and I could always find something to watch. Now there's hundreds of channels and I'm lucky if I can find anything at all worth watching

  19. I loved sitcoms growing up: McHale's Navy, Facts of Life, Welcome Back, Kotter, Family Ties, Mr. Ed, Mary Tyler Moore, Hogan's Heroes, (wait, would that be a sitcom?). These are the ones I think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there were more.
