Fragments

I'm thankful for all my blogging buddies that visit me each week. You make me smile.

I'm thankful for my husband who also makes me smile. It's wonderful to have a life partner that is fun to be with and you just compliment each other.

I'm thankful that we can enjoy our love of boating year around. Even when it's cold and storming, we enjoy our boat.

I'm thankful we are comfortable with our lives. We have enough money and plenty of food to eat. Because of that we help others have a better life.

I'm thankful I can go where I want when I want. There are many places on earth that this is not so. To be free to choose is a wonderful thing.

I'm thankful my husband doesn't dictate what I will do, say or how I will act. He lets me be me and I let him be him.

Most of all I'm thankful hubby and I are healthy. We see so much sickness and suffering. It breaks our hearts.

What are you most thankful for this week?

  1. You are blessed, for sure! I'm thankful my sister is home from the hospital and feeling better. I'm also thankful I finally found a color I like for my living room tables. I'm got one painted and waxed but I will have to wait until tomorrow to do more painting as today is a road trip!

Have a perfectly lovely day! big hugs xoxo

  16. I'm thankful I've never experienced a devastating earthquake, flood, fire or hurricane. I know I would not handle it well!

It's nice to hear of a couple who has a good marriage--so many are on the verge of divorce. I think you hit the key--let each other be themselves and don't try to change the other person.

  17. Right now, i'm just thankful to be. There's lots that needs fixing, but there's lots that doesn't, and i'm going to focus on just enjoying what is working.

  20. Sandee, I couldn't have written a better gratitude list than yours, and I agree with all of it except I'd change:
    husband to wife,
    boating to birding,
    he/him to she/her, and
    hubby to wifey.
Well, actually I would probably never use the word wifey. (She packs a gun you know.) ;-)

I'm grateful for you, Sandee! You bring a lot of joy and wisdom to many lives!
