Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: Soup or salad?
Usually I'll opt for the salad with blue cheese dressing, but if they have clam chowder I can't pass up the soup.

  1. I like both so I would probably opt for a tuna salad in summer and leek and potato soup in winter ;-)

    Have a mealtastic week ;-)

  5. Normally I choose salad because I'm not partial to soups. However, if it happens to be tomato soup I will eat that.

  6. How to pick... gah! It's hot out, so I'll say salad. :)

  8. Yes! Soup & salad. Almost any salad in the summer will work for me. If you count chili as a soup, then I'm all in for it through the fall and winter.

  9. oh my! this is a hard one! since i love both it's almost impossible... chilled soup? then it wins. cold day, then soup wins. otherwise it's salad with vinegar and a tiny bit of evoo.

  11. I'm with you on this one, Sandee, salad with blue cheese dressing, or Caesar Salad, unless there is clam chowder... love that stuff! :-) Have an awesome day!

  12. I would always go for salad over soup, unless it's a cold and miserable day.

  13. I love both... So I guess it depends on what the soup is and what the salad is and what the weather is. If it's Olive Garden, I often order the soup, salad and breadsticks special!

Have a wonderful Wednesday, Sandee! big hugs xoxo

  17. Salad, especially if there are a lot of nice mixed greens in it, not just iceberg lettuce.

  23. Definitely soup! I particularly love the soup at a local restaurant near work. The chef is called the Soup Guy and he's been featured in the news. And with good reason - he can make a great soup out of dirt, socks and an old tire.

  24. Definitely soup! These days my favourite is pumpkin soup. I am so sorry I can no longer have peas soup. Enjoy the rest of your day Sandee.
