Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that. I'll even answer my own question as that's only fair.

So here's this weeks question: Do you fall asleep easily or do you toss and turn before you finally fall asleep?
I fall asleep very easily. My head hits the pillow and I'm pretty much gone in under five minutes.

  1. I get to sleep easily, staying asleep is more difficult. Either my husband, cat or dog seem to wake me up during the night at some point.

  4. I read before I turn out the light and then am usually asleep fairly fast. The hard part is staying asleep. Either the cat or my sweetie wake me. Not their fault-it's my pattern of sleeping lightly. Have a great day!

  8. Oh I am passed out right away, but then I wake up sometime during the night since some cat always feels the need to walk across my body. But I usually go back to dream land.

  10. I am asleep within a few minutes. I just can't stay asleep very long. My wife is the opposite. She can't seem to fall asleep very fast, but can sleep for hours on end. Have a great day!

  15. According to the sleep study folks I'm out like a light. But many nights I find myself tossing and turning. It really depends on the day.

If I nap, which is rare, it takes longer!

  17. Oh, my gosh! I fall asleep so fast you would not believe! Even when I'm trying to stay awake to watch something. And I sleep like a rock. Thankful for that, for sure! Although sometimes my bladder doesn't play nice. =)

Have a YAYful day! big hugs xoxo

  18. It takes me a while, quite a while for the sandman to come. I suppose age and my little dogs playing on the bed jumping around on the bed have something to do with it.

  21. some nights i am asleep before i even hit the pillow and others, like last night, i tossed and turned until after 2:00. that was the last time i remember looking at the clock anyway. i think my body knows what it needs and so i sleep when i want to, just like i eat, whatever time i am hungry, no dinner time any more for me. sometimes it's 9:00 and sometimes 4:30! ha ha ha

    smiles, bee

  30. I fall asleep in almost exactly thirty minutes each night. I'm always tired, so I could fall asleep at my desk, or even standing up maybe, if they'd let me. It takes me that little while to turn the lights out in my brain and relax, but then I'm out like a rock. You could move the house and I'd never feel it. :-)

  31. Yes. I fall asleep easily, then I wake up two or three times between 4:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. I hate it when that happens.
