Seymour #12

This is the completed Story Game of "Seymour". You all are great authors!

The weather is warming up and the birds and the bees are doing their thing. Seymour, The Pet Rock, is at it again. This time he found another gorgeous lady rock. Her name was Rocksy, and she was sedimentary. Since he knew how much his Auntie Bee wanted a baby rock he decided to get a cake and take it to the rock concert with his newest lady rock.

Of course Lucy and the Lava Pit was playing. This got Seymour excited, as he was a fan of the igneous ladies, so he resolved to "Rock on" through the night which created a problem because he accidentally bum burped and the crowd dispersed in a landslide, except for one little gem.

Poor Seymour had had too much to drink and was pretty much plastered. He snuck behind a police car to relieve himself from all the beer, and the officer caught him. Seymour was arrested and sent to The Stoney Lonesome for 9 months, with no chance of parole because really, peeing on the police cars was that bad!

In his cell, he was pondering and thinking of that glorious day of spring which seemed like a long time ago. He thought it's not too late yet he could come up with plan to escape. A disguise, he needed a disguise. Then he spied the janitor doing his nightly cleaning duties and with a chloroform soaked cloth in his rocky little hand he snuck up on the janitor and the janitor turned for he was startled from the noise of a rock falling to the floor. Thinking, "Who threw that?"

The janitor picked Seymour up and placed him on his cart. "Chain Gangs are getting pretty careless these days, coming in off the rock quarries and just leaving stuff everywhere. I guess I'll take this one back out to the fields when I leave," the janitor said aloud. Seymour was quite happy with this information and waited on the janitor's cart until he finished his duties. The janitor left The Stoney Lonesome and made his way to the quarry.

Once there, the janitor took Seymour and placed him beside some rocks. He could not believe his luck and said to himself, "I need a disguise." He kept hoping someone would pick him up and give him a new colour with a paint job. He smiled at the thought of becoming a red rock!

He heard a sound and sat very still, even still for a rock. The sound belonged to a large bird that landed near him to feed on some road kill. After a few minutes he found that the road kill wasn't quite dead. The bird slammed the remains against Seymour to finish the task. As the blood of the victim trickled across his face, Seymour thought to himself this wasn't exactly what I was thinking when I wanted to go red, but I guess it will do. The only problem was that the chain gang had showed up in their old yellow school bus armed with picks and hammers and began shuffling over to where Seymour lay covered in blood.

The Officer in charge of the detail saw the blood and figured that this was a crime scene and called for the Crime Techs and the Homicide Team. After the investigation Seymour was taken as evidence and booked into the evidence locker. Meanwhile an escape report was being made at The Stoney Lonesome and an all-points bulletin for the recapture of Seymour The Pet Rock was put out. Seymour peeked out of the evidence bag and began to plan his escape by means of identity theft. There was another evidence bag on a table across the room. The evidence bag was from a liquor store robbery where some drunk walked past a liquor store, and found a large rock beside a telephone pole.

Not being able to resist the temptation of all that booze, the drunk wailed the rock through the plate glass window to get at the booze. When the Cops arrived, they took the rock as evidence of the robbery. Seymour thought that if I switched places with that rock, I would be able to escape easily, for no one would identify the rock from the liquor store theft as being Seymour-The Wanted Rock. Seymour easily switched places with the other rock -- for Robbie Stone was still unconscious from being hurled through the liquor store window. Seymour was really pleased and quite positive that he could make a clean break at the first moment of opportunity.

At last the moment came, and Seymour was picked up by the Evidence Clerk and handed to the Robbery Detail Detective and taken to Judge Jeremy Sandstone's Court. The Defendant, Rocky Tornado, was asked by Judge Sandstone if he was ready to plead guilty or if he was going to have to be convicted. Rocky Tornado plead guilty and was sentenced to hard time on the rock pile chain gang. Judge Sandstone then asked to see the evidence brought by the Detective and saw Seymour. Seymour tried to be anonymous, he tried to be someone else, but he recognized Judge Jeremy Sandstone as Julia Sandstone's father! Suddenly Judge Sandstone's Court was changed to Family Law and Seymour finally had to face the consequences of Julia's pregnancy. The judge dismissed the jail escape and the peeing on the cop car and then sentenced him to give up the children via adoption and to return to his home state of Colorado no later than the first week in May and to never return to California again.
