Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that.

So here's this weeks question: Who was one of your favorite childhood friends or family member?
My Grandma Cox was my favorite family member. I loved that old woman to pieces and she loved me right back.

  1. My uncle Kevin. I have written about him several times.

As a kid and even teenager, I just thought he was the coolest person on earth. As an adult looking back, I realize he was a bit pathetic and needed to grow up, but I couldn't get enough of him when I was younger.

  2. I loved both my Nanas to pieces, all of my cousins, my Auntie Paula and Uncle Bobby, my Auntie Jeannie and Uncle Neal, my Auntie Barbara and Uncle Jerry... you get the idea!

I did have one best friend named Patty until I was 13 and we moved away and I only saw her once more. She came to my wedding... and I haven't seen or heard from her since.

Have yourself a lovely day! big hugs xoxo

  4. My grandma Arlettaz and my aunt Martha because even though they were old, they still stayed active and both adored me! I loved staying overnight at their house just hanging out with them.

  5. My cousin who also lived next door. I often consider her my "first" best friend. We'd spend endless hours upon hours together playing barbies, singing, dancing and just enjoying life as pre-teenagers.

  11. My cousin Cheenu. We use to see MGR movies and enact fighting scenes and enjoy. We helped each other in learning bicycle riding, it was great fun. The guy is no more.

  12. My Aunt Rene is my favourite from when I was a child, sadly she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's yet to be confirmed.

It's heartbreaking seeing her personality gradually changing.

    Have a brilliant day/evening

  17. I couldn't choose between my cousin Janet and my great friend Judy. My cousin Janet and I have known each other through thick and thin since we were about 3 years old. Judy and I met as 10 year olds in 5th grade when my family moved from the East Coast to the Bay Area in California. They have both been steadfast friends. Countless hours of laughter and fellowship and good advice when I needed it!
    Have a wonderful week!
