Seymour #11

Seymour is doing odd jobs around here to earn some money for all the court costs and the fine from his recent drunk driving. He doesn't seem to mind helping out and we're happy about that. We were beginning to think he was only good at boozing and skirts. I think we were wrong.

He does seem a bit nervous about becoming a father, but that's to be expected. He's let us know that he doesn't want to raise his babies and wants to adopt them to good homes. Julia Sandstone doesn't care what Seymour does with the kids as she certainly not going to raise them. She just want's the money. I think we can find all of them good homes.

Julia Sandstone had a sonogram the other day and word has it she is pregnant with four baby rocks. Unknown what the sex is yet as it's very hard to tell with rocks, but stand by for further info when it becomes available. Empress Bee of muffin53 part deux has pick of the litter, Marg of Marg's Animals gets the next choice and my buddy Barb at the Swamp has third choice. That leaves one baby rock up for grabs. I've a feeling that you'll have your bundles of joy in the near future.

The above photograph is Seymour at one of the outside balcony tables at Encinal Yacht Club. He really enjoys watching all the boats go up and down the estuary. He's really into boating in a big way and I think he likes it even more than we do. We're taking him back to Encinal tomorrow for the Easter brunch. He's says he's never watched an Easter egg hunt and wants to see one for himself. Sounds reasonable to us.

We're happy with Seymour and it appears he's happy with us. Not sure how long his human dad will let him stay and word has it he has a place to go after he leaves here. Seymour sure does get around and in more ways than one.

  1. Good for Seymour. It's good to hear he's acting responsibly. Hope he doesn't find new ways to get into trouble though

  3. I would be delighted to adopt Seymour's 4th child. He will be loved, photographed, and who knows, may become a 'rock star' when he grows up. lol

  8. good for you and Seymour...obviously he's learning from his mistakes ( I hope) keep a sharp eye on him while the Easter Bunny is about!

  9. Don't expect too much from Seymour, it takes a hard-headed rock a long time to grow up. One human year equals 10,000 rock years. I would say Seymour is a growing boy, but he has already matured in size as for that mental maturity----well you want live to see that.

  10. Sandee, I would like to have the spotted one, please.

Have you considered openning a Pay Pal contribution site for Seymour?

  11. Seymour has all sorts of ways of getting his rocks off....

As for relatives, Seymour has told me that meteors and asteroids are his distant relatives.

He got mad when I didn't have a *rimshot* cued up...

  17. Sexing baby rocks is pretty straight forward. just turn them over and look underneath for an innie or an outie. It's hard to see when they're small, but it's there. Seems like i learned something from all the stones thrown at me over the years.
Sounds like pebbles are going to good homes, though.
