Seymour #3

Seymour is settling in very nicely. He's no longer angry at us for leaving him so long with the next door neighbor. We're happy about that.

He also likes the boat and him and Little Bit hug out on her bed watching the ducks go by the other day. Seymour has been on the high seas many times from what I'm told so he'll not be getting seasick when we venture out on a cruise.

We'll make sure that all of you get to see what he's up to.  Click on the picture to biggify.  Little Bit really likes Seymour, but we're not sure how Seymour likes Little Bit.  Time will tell and it's very difficult to tell what Seymour is thinking at any time.

Seymour loves champagne and has been caught several times sneaking sips (more like large gulps), from each of our glasses.  I'm guessing this isn't something new and that's he's been drinking cold adult beverages for a very long time.

We are still catching Seymour in the guestroom window staring out across the street.  We're thinking it very well could be that large boulder that our neighbor has.  We're being ever so careful to keep the doors closed.

Seymour no longer mentions going home and although he loves his human dad he seems to be eager to see what California has to offer in terms of fun things that a rock can do.  We'll see to it that he gets that chance.

  2. I'm so glad Seymour is settling in nicely! Do you suppose Seymour will get his own blog? Or maybe he can share one with Little Bit, at least at first. Just to see if he likes rock blogging.

  3. There is so much to do in California. I know Seymour will love it there. Does he like to hike? Maybe you can introduce him to some other rocks.

Have a great weekend. Little Bit is cute. I had a cat named that a long time ago.

  4. What happens when a rock DOES get sea sick? I mean, what are the symptoms?

  6. Lil Bit isn't jealous is he? No, I'm sure he isn't. He's a confident dog, but I hope Seymour doesn't try to tempt him with the adult beverages!

Have a great day. Big hugs, honey...

  9. I was wondering how little bit and Seymour were getting along.

  10. Gosh, I wonder what a drunk rock does for entertainment. That could be quite funny. This is hysterical. We love Seymour. But we want a Seymour junior. We might have to go see if we have one hanging around outside. Then Seymour could have a blogging friend. One thing about these rocks, they sure don't eat much.

  11. Don't let him trick you into playing hide and seek in a rock pile.

  13. I am glad, Sandee, that Seymour is adapting to his situation. The window, the neighbor's rock, and the champagne seem to be helping him.

Did you try mixing beer with his champagne so you can get him switched over to beer. Give him premium to start with.

  14. I have a photo of Seymour caught partaking of a beer. And he spent a summer in '07 on the beach of a Japanese island in the Inland Sea, at the Moooo! Bar, so I have no doubt he's a geologic closet lush.

If Seymour gets sick, you'll know it: a sudden cloud of *dust*. What kind of *dust* I cannot say, but I would not inhale it...

  15. Sounds like Seymour is settling in nicely. I suggest you might want to watch him closely with all that drinking. Next thing you know he'll be getting stoned and listening to loud rock and roll music

  17. Seymour sounds like a fine character. Anyone who can sit without much training is a great pet. I think i'm gonna adopt a pet rock!

  18. How do you know when he has had a bit to much to drink?

  19. Hahaha.
Hopefully Seymour and Little bit always get along, and they don't fight each other to see the ducks. :)
