Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that.

So here's this weeks question: What is one of your favorite television shows?
I can't really tell you anything about regular television, but we have Netflix and I'm enjoying watching that. Hubby and I watch one hour of television a day when we are home. We watched all of the Rockford Files and now we're watching the original Hawaii Five-O. Really enjoying revisiting 70s television.

  2. I have lots of favorites, depending on the decade or what I'm in the mood for! I use to be insanely in love with the Monkees. OK, mostly Mike Nesmith. So my world stopped spinning if it was time for The Monkees to come on! I also use to love Bewitched. And when I was babysitting I use to love being amazed and a bit creeped out by The Sixth Sense... in the dark!!! And I was completely hooked on M*A*S*H. I still think that is probably one of THE best TV shows ever made.

Hope you and Z-Man have a lovely day, Sandee! big hugs xoxo

  7. My favorite all time show was Firefox. It starred Nathan Fillion of "Castle". The darn thing ran only one year, but a movie was based on it called Serenity. It's a futuristic space adventure with a great personality.

Right now I'm watch reruns of Smallville. TNT ran the last two years two times and then decided to do the whole ten year series. Every morning I'm treated to a new show, in order, at 6:00 am. (I gotta finish this quick.) I'm into season 5 number 5 and loving it. It's about the younger years of Superman. Can't help it I love it.

  9. Well at the moment my favorite show is Blue Bloods but like you Sandee, I watch DVD's since I don't have about 3 channels on my TV. And I love it. I have lots of other favorites. Just can't remember what they are. LOL. Take care.

  10. I don't do much regular television at all. I am an old movie buff and I love historical stuff too. Some times I watch The Documentary channel if a good movie isn't showing.

Some times I even watch Snapped. Those women on that show really lose it!

Now for the one that will have everyone laughing. I am absolutely addicted to Project Runway! I know it nuts but aren't all addictions?

Have a great day and of course...always always big hugs!

Starred (*) programs go in one ear and out the other. Not much stops inbetween but my TV is on all day except when I'm golfing or out.

Doc Martin would be my favorite, followed by Dave Letterman's first half of his show.

  16. News, documentaries and old movies. That's about it. Usually the TV is on for background noise only, can't watch much it. Used to though, but I suppose I grew out of it.

  17. I love old movies... my recent addictions are Downton Abbey on PBS (kind of like the former PBS hit, Upstairs Downstairs) and I like House and Grey's Anatomy. I like to watch House and guess what the disease it is they're diagnosing. And I like Grey's Anatomy because it's based out of Seattle. Classic television? M*A*S*H. Loved it!

  18. That's a tough one. I have so many favorites. Dexter, Rescue Me, Mad Men, Walking Dead, Parks and Recreation, The Office, to name a few.

  19. Jim's answer was pretty thorough! I have the TV on while I'm working as background noise because for some reason music from my iPod scares Angel (or maybe it's my singing!). I don't really have a favorite though although I do like HGTV and the Food Network and also the Amazing Race when it's on mainly to see the various countries they go to.

Personally, I love Top Gear over on Speed Network. NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles are also most watched around our house. The Voice, Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance are seasonal favorites.
It is amazing how diverse the viewing habits of this crowd are.
