Southern Women

Hubby and I met a fabulous couple from Alabama when we sailed to Hawaii earlier this year. Dave is really into southern humor and he knows that I am too. I just love folks from the south. They are kind, considerate and if they are your friend they are your friend for life.

  2. There are so many uses for that wonderful word sh%t. They left one of the words that all southerns call each other and that is 'Hon'. But that is such a good example of the southern gals. Take care.

Similar to Woodsterman, I speak Okie/Arkie Redneck. It's a hybrid southern. We do say yes ma'am and no ma'am. There's also "That boy ain't got the common sense of a bar of soap." Just sayin'.
