Happy Halloween

A woman whose husband often came home drunk decided to cure him of the habit. One Halloween night, she put on a devil suit and hid behind a tree to intercept him on the way home.

When her husband came by, she jumped out and stood before him with her red horns, long tail, and pitchfork.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm the Devil!" she responded.

"Well, come on home with me," he said, "I married your sister!"

  10. Hi Sandee, I like your picture. I like Halloween too. We are going out trick or treating tonight in a very affluent part of London.

The residents there all cater to the children. It will start with a face painting table(s) and various other entertaining things. Then all the residents open their porches to the children for treats.

Actually this happens a lot in London. Contrary to what we might hear, the people here are even more friendly than in the US.

The festivities continue with Guy Fawkes Day (Google that) celebrations. We have been invited to two parties over the weekend. Since November 5 is a Monday, the celbrations are Friday night and over the weekend. We can't attend one Friday night as we are going to Northampton to visit some friends. that day.

  16. Halloween use to be great but now I'm way out in the stick and no trick or treaters. Oh well, save money on candy, but miss the little ones.
