The Bee Bandwagon

I started Lean Cuisine on September 11, 2012 to shed around 30 pounds. Hubby thinks 20 is more like it, but he's married to me and knows all the right things to say. Anyway, I started out with four meals per day and ate nothing else but Lean Cuisine. I drank lots of water, and didn't exercise as much has I should have and lost 5 pounds by September 17, 2012. I know I'll slow down now as the first week is the best week for weight loss.

The last couple of days I've dropped one meal and added a salad with my dinner meal. The great thing? I've not been hungry one bit. I am under my allotted calories every day.

On October 10, 2012 we leave for our annual bay cruise and there is no way I can take Lean Cuisine with me. I don't have anyplace to keep it frozen. We'll see how I do with all that food that seems to be part of the yachting world. Talk about trial by fire.

If you want to shed a few pounds then you need to jump on the Bee Bandwagon. Empress Bee is at or near a total loss of 70 pounds. Now that really rocks. As Empress Bee always says, "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels." She's right you know.

Have a terrific weekend everyone.

  1. I've been tried by tornado! I did OK the first night but last night, after a busy day at the office and all of the noise from tornado cleanup, and a week of Lean Cuisine, I just couldn't face another Lean Cuisine meal... and MotherDear didn't feel like cooking... so I order pizza. Tonight? Tonight I am cooking! I am thinking maybe Mahi Mahi. We'll see...

You are doing GRReat! big hugs xoxo

  2. That is pretty neat to lose 5 pounds in one week. So as they all say, just watch your portions on your cruise and now you know you can lose it when you get back. Life is too darn short to not enjoy it. So have a blast, just a small blast. Take care.

  6. Great, Sandee!!! Keep up the good work. October 10 is three weeks away so you should have the 20!!!

I am going on your diet, do you think (rhetorical Q) that a fellow my size could live on four Lean Q's? My goal it to loose the five pounds I've picked up the last couple of months.

On cruises I don't gain weight. Lots of walking and eating the seafood I like helps a lot there. But on the Bay cruises you will be eating in the clubs. Could you order ahead for Lean Q's?

Going to London middle of October for three weeks which will be lots of walking and so need to get it done by then.

  11. I once managed weight loss of 40 lbs with just a dietary change (back in '01). Now that I need to lose the same sorry 40 lbs, my motivation should be the same...but it ain't :-(

  12. Sandee, that trial by fire will go easier than you think. If you're committed, you will do it. Hell hath no fury like a woman on a mission.

  15. It will be more difficult on the cruise, but hopefully you'll be able to find some lower calorie items on the menu there.

  20. Welcome to the club! I wonder if there is a sign in sheet somewhere. I'd love to find something to give to all of us as a reminder to keep making healthy choices? bee earrings? Bee bracelent? Bee sticker to put on the fridge.... I shall think on this. Christmas is coming after all!

I know you will do great on the cruise. Try doing some research beforehand by looking up the calories of food that you usually have. And opt for lighter versions. Wheat bread thins, fruit, stuff you can substitute. Just a thought....
