Words of Wisdom

Some of my favorite sayings:

Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning. Mahatma Gandhi

You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Christopher Columbus

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. Thomas A Edison

Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. Muhammad Ali

So many of our dreams at first seems impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable. Christopher Reeve

Efficiency is doing things right. Effectiveness is doing the right things. Peter Drucker

Formal education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune. Jim Rohn

You must be the change you want to see in the world. Mahatma Gandhi

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Ralph Waldo Emerson

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without [necessarily] accepting it. Aristotle
