Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question as everyone has different opinions on any given issue.

So here's this weeks question: Did you make any new year resolutions? Why or why not?

  1. I did not :) I stopped making them long ago..

I get frustrated when I realize in the middle of the year that I am not doing good in any of the resolutions I make :)

  2. I did. :D It is to really, really do my best to achieve my resolution for this year. :D In the past years, I have been making resolutions but I don't get to make them happen. So this time around, I should make them happen. :)

  3. Nope, I don't make resolutions ("revolutions"). I did set some goals for the year regarding my artwork, but they really aren't resolutions, just goals.

  4. Nope. Never have. MD always told us never to make promises we can't keep, so maybe that's why?

Hope your day is lovely! big hugs xoxo

  5. Nope. I didn't go through the formal exercise of writing down any New Year resolutions, but I do have a couple of goals in mind. Improving my personal health and my photography skills are on my list.

  6. No no resolutions here. I want to try to pay more attention to the cats and do some more reading. Those are fun things to do and having fun is the name of the game. Take care.

  7. I usually don't, because I can never complete them. That's setting myself for failure. I only want to get better in photography this year.
    Happy Wednesday, Sandee! :)

  10. No,no resolutions. One less thing to fail at in the new year. I actually make resolutions; (improvements?) all year. I'll set goals, but not really resolutions.

  16. No resolutions. Why set myself up for irritation/failure?!

Have a great, successful day out shopping. Big hugs, honey...

  17. I never do. I feel there shouldn't be a day where I decide to better myself. I do that on a daily basis. I try to keep in shape, I work to achieve my goals every single day. I would have to say I have succeeded in what I want to accomplish. I feel New Years resolutions are the same for everyone every year and people just say each year that this year will be different but by the end of the year people will be saying the same thing about next year.

  18. I did when I was younger but I finally gave up making them because I never stick with them

  19. No. I don't remember ever making one. If I want to change something in my life, any day is as good as any other to do it. Sooner rather than later :)

  20. Nope. None that I have vocalized to anyone. Saying it out loud would make them too real, thus too much of a disappointment when they aren't fulfilled. Instead, I am going to continue to be me.

Hope you are well! I miss blogging, and I miss you!

  25. Not so much a resolution... but a promise to myself. To write my book and to get my life/house back on track. Important stuff!

  26. No I didn't, mainly because there are already so many things that I already need to get accomplished in the coming months.

  29. Nope. I never make resolutions. Promises are cheap. Actions have a high price-to-earning ratio.

  32. The last days of 2011 were so sad that I did not even get to sit down and think about New Year's Resolutions. However this question has me thinking. I will do more to keep healthy, work hard at keeping my writing career going and try to lift my spirit despite life's hard knocks. I hope this year will be a great year for you Sandee!
