The Office

My boss phoned me today. He said, "Is everything okay at the office?"

I said, "Yes, it's all under control. It's been a very busy day, I haven't stopped."

"Can you do me a favor?" he asked.

I said, "Of course, what is it?"

He said, "Hurry up and take your shot, I'm in the foursome behind you."

  6. This reminded me of my late father-in-law who was an avid golfer and chronic joke teller. I would have loved to share this joke with him.

  7. Broke the first rule of skipping out of the office, never go where your boss might be.

  8. I had to read that a few times to get it...then again, I don't golf.

That would be my luck though, I'd skip out on work and run into my boss.

  11. Oops :) I have never personally enjoyed golf but I worked with people who have. One experience a co-worker had was having a couple drinks while playing golf on his lunch (supposed to be half hour but we know that wasn't enough time) and rolled the golf cart over. Yeah there was some explaining to do there!

  13. I guess one could always try to use the excuse that you're just trying to think - and act - like the boss!

  20. I think this kinda hide and seek is usual at every workplace. Employee playing games with the haughty boss...Boss and Employee relationship sometimes really is a comedy sort of thing
