Wednesdays Question

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question as everyone has different opinions on any given issue.

So here's this weeks question: What has been your most memorable vacation? Why?
I'll answer this one in this post. My most memorable vacation was the bloggers cruise I took in February. The reason it was so memorable was because I got to meet many blogger friends in person. There was Sarge Charlie, Empress Bee, Sandy and Dick, Barb and Linda. I just never thought I'd go across the country to take a cruise. These folks sure made it a pleasure to do. I love them all. The Eastern Caribbean was pretty nice too.

  1. I loved my cruise with you guys for exactly the reasons you mentioned, plus I just love cruising! I hope to do it again soon! Perhaps the BC5? And look at you now! You'll be cruising to the Mexican Riviera and Hawaii! I'm so glad you discovered your love for cruising!

As much as I loved the bloggers cruise and all of you guys, my most memorable vacations that I absolutely must have to live and breathe will always be any and all of my sisterdear gatherings.

    Big hugs honey xoxo

  3. Gosh, so many memorable vacations!

I would guess that the Christmas that Hank and I took the kids, his ex and her husband, and we all spent Christmas as a family in SW Florida. The kids still talk about that to this day, and I got to know his ex better.

We had a lot of fun!

The other one was when I took my Dad abroad and we took one of those see sixty cities and three days type of tours. It was shortly after mom died, and we had so much fun!

  4. The week of camp counseling I did at Beulah Beach for Jr. High was my most memorable vacation (other than my honeymoon week). I had nice girls who even made me a special video that was very cute and mailed it to me after camp was over.

  6. My best was the last one, a cruise; my wife and I celebrating 30 years together. She got to fulfill her lifelong dream of kissing a dolphin, and I get to wonder how she put up with me for thirty years.

  10. So many to choose from, but the first Rhine River cruise from Amsterdam to Basil was pretty dang special. Plus by 9p Dick and I had the salon practically to ourselves, complete with live music, fireplace, and bar tender. What a life!

Great question. Have an ever greater day. Big hugs, honey...

  12. Our most memorable vacation was in 2009 when my husband and I went to Hawaii for the first time with a bunch of friends. It was beautiful, and it was also our 20th wedding anniversary. We renewed our vows on the beach .. really great time!

  13. It was my first visit to the UK in July 2009 on my way to the US. My wife Lalita and I stayed with my college mate Ramu and Shanthy in the picturesque and beautiful county of Scarborough in Yorkshire. Ramu and I are friends for more than 40 years right from our college days. It was a fantastic get together for both the families and a wonderful vacation for us.

  14. Our mom says one of the best vacations she remembers was a family vacation when she was about 12 years old. They went to Washington DC and saw all the sites...and then to Gettysburg. She loved Gettysburg and said it was very interesting.

  18. There has been a few...but the most recent great vacation was a month spent at a beautiful hotel, with a huge balcaony, overlooking the Carribbean Sea in Barbados. And to make things even more exciting a hurricane passed by 60 miles out at sea on one of the nights, what a buzz...

  20. That's a tough one. Our honeymoon in Bermuda is one of the best, but it didn't end when it started. We once took our kids to the YMCA of the Rockies. It was a great family vacation. Oh and of course a free trip to Ireland was uber cool! Thanks for asking.

  22. Hi Sandee! I have so many memorable vacation but of course I have to pick one...hmnnn

what comes to my mind right now, is a post Christmas break I had with my group of friends years ago, It was a long 12 hour bus trip, we went to northern part of the Philippines where the weather is way much cooler than here in the city. It's surrounded by mountains we marveled at the beauty of the nature

We rented a new log house that has a fireplace! and we gathered woods..and we had wine..

    I actually made a post about it, if you want to visit here is the link;

It's memorable because of the many hardship we went through as friends days before the trip :)

  23. I have been on many I would say they were all memorable.

Just one stands out from years ago when all my family decided to drive from London to Spain instead of usually flying.

    Never again LOL

  24. I think my favorite vacations were when my husband and I were first together and his work load was less. We could take two full weeks off instead of one. We'd drive around to lots of little inns and not have to catch up on chores.
