Wednesdays Question

I thought it would be good to ask another question since the last one I asked got a lot of responses. There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question as everyone has different opinions on any given issue.

So here's this weeks question. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

  1. I would like all to speak the same language, so there wouldn't be any linguistic barriers between us.

  2. Well I'd love to see peace and kindness trump everything. It's unrealistic, with pms and testosterone....but one can always hope!

  3. That was a tough question Sandee..but here's what I want most :) "for every one to be equal" that there will be no more poor living in the streets because everyone has a home...

  4. I feel like I'm in the Miss America Pageant.
Not to be flippant, but I'd like to see everyone go to bed with a full belly, knowing that someone loves them.

  5. I don't mean to get all too serious here, but I'll say: I wish human beings don't have (or know) greed. I think it is the ultimate source of chaos the world is facing now. Greed for power, greed for wealth, for resources...(Maybe it has something to do with the so called "will to power"?)

  6. I wish everyone would treat others the way they would like to be treated--with respect and honesty.

  7. I DO change the world every day. Just not in a big way. I'll leave that to God. I wouldn't have a clue what to do as even the tiniest ripple changes the greatest ocean.

Too serious? OK. Fine. I'd change the guest's manifest on the Carnival Spirit to Hawaii so that it included my name, in a very nice stateroom.

    Big hugs honey xo

  9. I'm going to agree with William on this one.

  10. agree with the two comments above. i think most wars are due to the "my god is bigger than your god" mentality. i believe we could have peace if it were not for that.

    oh, and more cake.

  12. I think greed is possibly the biggest problem mankind is faced with. Everyone wants bigger, better, more of. It never stops.

  17. I'd like to see an end to negativity. It fuels so many other bad things in the world. It starts at home, it starts by eliminating negative people from your life when possible. Or learning to not react to their downer moments which could spurn your own. Does that make sense?

  18. The whole world should be one nation with no different cast, creed, language, culture, etc. I don't need to get a visa to visit different countries!

  21. I'd leave the important stuff to God. I wish we all had more time to spend with family and friends, regardless of where we live. We all get so busy that people who were once dear to us slowly drift off our radar, simply due to a lack of time in keeping in touch with them.

  22. No War and No Hate, a place where we all live in harmony, is it really asking too much!

    ReplyDelete
  23. No hatred! Especially when it is based on race or ethnicity since those are attributes we all have but have no choice in them either.
What is so difficult about loving one's fellowman anyway?

  29. Good question, Sandee. :)
I would make it square for all the square people. It is true that square pegs don't fit a round hole.
Our whole earth is round. Go figure.
