Bloggers Cruise - V

St. Thomas was our favorite island. From our first look right through the day we loved everything about St. Thomas.

It was warm, the water was a beautiful blue and everyone seemed to be smiling. Zane and I spent very little time on the ship and found our way onto the island early.

It was a long walk into town, but it was so beautiful that the time passed quickly.

Hubby and I walk all over town and go into whatever shops interest us. I just had to buy two or three shirts from each island. Why not. The first shot is of hubby and I somewhere in St. Thomas. He's just the most handsome. Just saying.

The second shot is us going to have lunch at Gladys' restaurant and bar. We asked one of the locals where there was a good place for lunch and she recommended Gladys'. She was right as it was very, very good.

While heading back to the ship we noticed the last critter having a late lunch. He/she was huge. I know my sister will enjoy this shot as she's had a few of these as pets. Not for me, but whatever. He/she was impressive.

Tomorrow: San Juan (continued)

  12. I love St. Thomas, too! I apparently didn't make that clear on my post. It was just that crappy bus driver and the excursion that I hated. He showed us some not-so-pretty parts. Not what a person wants to see on vacation.

You and Zane are such a cute couple and you surely know how to have fun!

    Big hugs :]

  13. The beautiful blue sea and sky at St Thomas sure does look mesmerizing. And having lived in the Caribbean for a while I know how good that water feels and how fantastic the vibe is in that part of the world.

The more I hear about your cruise the more amazing it seems...

  17. I'm glad that you and Zane got to see the parts of St. Thomas that Barb and I obviously missed! Too bad we let that guy talk us into the tour that we had though at least we got to see a couple nice views and I think I've got some decent pictures - I just have to get around to editing them!

  20. I think any island with that much blue sky and water would be a favorite of mine as well. Smart to ask the locals for a good restaurant! :)
