Adoption Defined

You want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never say it's not quite as good as his mother's...

...then adopt a dog.

If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want...
...then adopt a dog.

If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn't care about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies...
...then adopt a dog.

If you want someone who is content to get on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores...
...then adopt a dog!

If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually...
...then adopt a dog.

BUT, on the other hand, if you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness...,
...then adopt a cat!

Now be honest, you thought I was gonna say... marry a man, didn't you?

  2. I love both cats and dogs. But since cats cause serious respiratory problems, I'd opt to adopt a dog if I didn't already have my hands and my heart full of baby girl!!! :)

  3. I've had and loved all three, but I knew the punch line on this was a CAT! I'm reminded daily! bwahahahaha!

    Big hugs xo

  4. I must confess, you had me.

But, I do know of one dog, owned by a family member, that loves the remote. Go figure.

Besides, anyone who adopts a cat must know from the git-go that he/she is staff for said cat.

We have loved being staff for all of the cats that have spent time with us.

  5. As a person who is owned by a cat, I would sincerely recommend getting a MAN instead :)

  8. Cats always rule the house and with as many cats that I have, I don't have a chance. Many times I find myself sitting on the floor just because all the chairs are occupied and if I move someone, then it is a contest as to will get to the empty chair first.
    Have a great Easter Sande.

  9. Men are like cats. Okay, so maybe not, but I get your drift. I've owned both, and I've got to say that dog's are my favorite.

  10. I'm seriously considering having dogs around rather than getting married.

  11. Thanks so much Sandee for the crossed fingers. Hope they aren't too sore. Everything is perfect. I always get nervous when I got to the oncologist.
You have a super Easter too. Have some fun.

  12. Doesn't matter, cat or dog - definitely superior to humans. We have the best of both worlds - 3 cats, none of whom would ever voluntarily leave the house, and one of those 3 thinks he's a dog. 2 of the 3 three will come when called and then we have one who, while preferring to be attached to human at all times, pretends to not even know his name.

  13. Ha ha! So true, though we are lucky to have cats that do come when we call, well for the most part.

  14. LOVE it! How fricking adorable and funny - yes, a man. Most men, anyway, as mine gets frustrated if OUR DOG'S hair is all over the house - he's clearly OCD ;)

xoxo and thx for the drop. fun to be back on e-card :)

  17. dog wags its tail to express its happiness while cat wags its tail when it is angry!

dog waits for an happy occasion so that its master feeds him to share his happiness. on the other hand, cat waits for the master to sleep so that the cat steal and and eat its favorites!

  18. My mother adopt dog illegally meaning she adopt stray dogs, when she saw one in the street.

Have you ever think of the difference between your dog and your wife?

After 10 years the dog would still wag his tail (assuming that the dog is still alive) because he is still excited knowing the fact that you had arrived from work when he saw you at the door, have you observed your wife probably she won't notice you when you got home. For the wives out there try to observe your husband? Joke only.

  21. even though men are like dogs and women like cats (not all), there is some charismatic attraction in a girl that makes her very special in the eyes of existence and men.

Girls are made of Sugar and spice, and everything nice and cute.
