Willow Berm

These two videos were taken on Friday afternoon just after we got to the boat and unloaded. We thought it was raining pretty good in the first video, but the second video the rain was really coming down. We so love hearing the rain on the tin roofs of the sheds. We were warm and comfortable inside the boat. What do you think of our view?

  1. well I have to admit, as views go, I've seen better :) but the water, the sound of the rain could make for a very relaxing day

  2. I'm with Ann... I'm sure that the view's much better after you leave the port.

I was just telling my sister how much I miss the lake in Maine and being out on the boat. They sold their house and the boat a few years ago. Their 2 boys are grown and it was much too hard taking care of 2 houses in different states!

    Big hugs xo

The view is rainy...but that ain't something a little sunshine can't fix!

  4. LOL the view is terrific. Lots of rain drops and the back end of all the other boats. What a nice site. Hope the rain stopped for you. Great video.

  5. I've heard that boats and fires don't mix well. Too bad because all you needed was a working fireplace. Can you say "Kaaboooom!"

  6. As far as I am concerned, the view is always good on the water...unless it has waves the size of danger! And mixed with rain on a tin roof, a glass of red wine, and my hubby...heaven.

    Big hugs...

  16. I love the sound of rain, especially on a day off and your being a bum lying in bed reading the paper or a book. It's so homey. The second video I could make out what looked like someones sandwich in a zip lock baggie. Boy am I astute or what????

  21. LOL @ Empress Bee's comment.

I am sure a bad day of rain is always a bit better when you are on a boat! I love that sound. We used to love rainy days when we were camping. Rain on the porch roof is the best.
