One Nation Under God

The current version of the Pledge of Allegiance reads:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands: one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

  8. I sometimes forget and say "Amen" at the end of the pledge! Of course, "Amen" really means something like "let it be so." Perhaps having that added at the end isn't so bad after all!

  11. We also recite it at the beginning of our annual holiday party of the company I work for. Heck, you can't be American Ambulance without reciting the pledge now, can you?!?
