On our last vacation, my wife and I saved some money by staying in a cheap hotel. Just as we were falling asleep, we heard the sounds of mattress springs and a banging headboard from the next room.
- At first we were amused by the amorous couple.
- After five minutes it had lost its charm.
- After ten minutes we were getting pretty annoyed, in that it was keeping us awake.
- After fifteen minutes, we were just plain ticked off.
- After half an hour we were pretty darned impressed.

I know that this explanation will not appease your discomfort you experienced, but we hope that this explanation will meet to your satisfaction.
It appears that someone in the room above you placed a "slug" in the Magic Fingers Automated Personal Masseuse unit. As a result, the unit did not turn off after the maximum 20 minute session. We were unaware of this, for the unit overheated and would only restart after many hours of cooling down.
As compensation for your personal discomfort, please accept a Free Nights Stay on us, and a full roll of Magic Fingers Tokens.
