Seymour #6

Seymour is heading to the boat with us this afternoon and is looking forward to laying around with Little Bit watching the ducks go by. He's acclimating himself very well to his new environment, but I really think it's because he has the hots for Julia Sandstone across the street. I guess that's okay.

A few of you suggested we wean him off champagne and start him on beer. He says that's just fine with him as long as he has some type of cold adult beverage. It will certainly be much cheaper. I think Seymour has a drinking problem.

We don't know if Julia Sandstone is pregnant or not, so standby for that. If there are little Seymour's or Julia's we'll let you know. Empress Bee has the pick up the litter and Marg has the second pick of the litter. I'm sure it will be fun to send the little ones across the country to their new homes. It will be even more interesting to see what they do with their new family members.

Tomorrow is the big meeting for IOBG at Pittsburg Yacht Club and Seymour has agreed to go with us and supervise all the activities. We can't leave him alone so I guess we'll take a chance and see how he does.

Do any of you think I'm a little off my rocker for agreeing to entertain a pet rock that usually reside in Colorado? Or do you think Das Skunkmeister who sent him to me is off his rocker? Perhaps the both of us? Bwahahahahahahahaha.

  1. Well since the pick of the litter and the second picks are already spoken for, put me down for the runt. Perhaps my gal Gracie would be willing to assist me in raising a rock if it's more to her size.

Hope you and the family have a lovely day on the boat! Which reminds me, does Seymour float?

    big hugs xoxo

  2. Oh we can't wait for the news of the pregnancy. Of course, we don't think you are off your rocker, talking about a pet rock. Look who is going along with you. All of us.Anyway, hope you have a good meeting. We know Seymour will behave himself. Take care.

  6. I figured you would take Seymour with you on the boat, rather than worrying all w/e about him and Jane. Smart. I know ALL of you will have fun. Look forward to hearing all about it.

Love and hugs from sunny WPB, honey...

  8. I'm not familiar with the reproductive process of rocks. If Ms. Sandstone is pregnant will she deliver live babies or egg babies.

  9. Have a great weekend and I hope Seymour behaves! I think he's got it pretty good, so he'd better not mess things up. Some baby rocks would be too cute!

  11. I just love this series Sandee. Brings me back to the seventies, when the pets were all the rage. My mother wouldn't let me get a real one, so I adopted the most colourful pet from a large commune near the river bed in the Fraser Valley. It was a really large commune, but I didn't realize that is was a rock hippy commune, and I got the most psychedelic one who turned out to be a real stoner. Well it was the Sevenites.

  16. My pet rock also has a severe drinking problem: he gets "stoned" all the time!

  17. Das Skunkmeister is off his rocker. Just my opinion. My other opinion, wine beats beer or champagne.

  18. Not very picky about his adult beverage is he? I suppose when someone else is buying you have to take what you can get

  19. I guess you're going to have to be on the lookout for any new pebbles.

  21. They say 50 is the new 40 so I guess "Off your rocker" is the new normal. I guess that makes me normal too

  22. Das Skunkmeister IS off his rocker...I have an easy chair ;-)

Seymour's had beer, never champagne ('til now). I was going to treat him to some Boone's Farm wine ($1.99/bottle), but he said the one I bought was the color of Tidy Bowl. So I know he ain't color blind..

Once again, Seymour: you CANNOT bring Julia home with you. She'd crush your perch. And the TV....
