Sausalito

We are currently at Encinal Yacht Club having our morning coffee. It appears that some weather is heading our way and we're looking at either sticking with our plans to head to Schoonmaker Point Marine in Sausalito or head back home two days early. Small craft warnings are not to be ignored. Stand by for our ultimate decision, but it looks like we're heading home.

Living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, I've learned not to dare the weather. It looks like we're driving home today from Stanford before Donner Summit gets hit with a storm on Monday.

Better to lose a couple of days cruise than to risk losing more.

That's too bad if you have to cut your cruise short. But obviously nature should not be ignored.

The houses on the hill like that looks like the Mediterranean.

I wonder if the guy with the parrot is still there? I love Sausalito! It's such a cute little walkable tourist area. Cute shops and good people-watching.

Storms are not to be messed with unless you're a storm tracker.
I think in my prior life (a month in San Fransisco) I went to Sausalito. Do they have a golf course? Yes.

I proposed to Mrs. Chatterbox in Sausalito. It still looks beautiful. So does she.
