We leave on Wednesday to start our annual bay cruise. This past weekend we hauled the majority of everything we need for the 13 days we'll be gone. Let the cruise begin.I'll be so glad when this election is over. I'm sick of hearing about it every single day. For the last how many years?
Is it just me or is the world getting crazier and crazier? I don't think it's just me.
On October 13th I'll be sworn in as the secretary of the International Order of the Blue Gavel, Delta District 19. I'll hand over my treasurer duties to the new incoming treasurer.
I met my husband back in the 70s while we were married to other people. He was doing my background investigation for the Sheriff's Department. When he rang our doorbell to ask a few questions I remember thinking, wow does all the men in the Sheriff's Department look this hot. No they didn't, but Zane sure did. I worked for him in the late 80s and early 90s and we both knew we loved each other although that was never said for many more years. We were meant to be.
