The last couple of days I've dropped one meal and added a salad with my dinner meal. The great thing? I've not been hungry one bit. I am under my allotted calories every day.
On October 10, 2012 we leave for our annual bay cruise and there is no way I can take Lean Cuisine with me. I don't have anyplace to keep it frozen. We'll see how I do with all that food that seems to be part of the yachting world. Talk about trial by fire.
If you want to shed a few pounds then you need to jump on the Bee Bandwagon. Empress Bee is at or near a total loss of 70 pounds. Now that really rocks. As Empress Bee always says, "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels." She's right you know.
Have a terrific weekend everyone.

I've been tried by tornado! I did OK the first night but last night, after a busy day at the office and all of the noise from tornado cleanup, and a week of Lean Cuisine, I just couldn't face another Lean Cuisine meal... and MotherDear didn't feel like cooking... so I order pizza. Tonight? Tonight I am cooking! I am thinking maybe Mahi Mahi. We'll see...
You are doing GRReat! big hugs xoxo
That is pretty neat to lose 5 pounds in one week. So as they all say, just watch your portions on your cruise and now you know you can lose it when you get back. Life is too darn short to not enjoy it. So have a blast, just a small blast. Take care.
i am SO PROUD of you honey! and sarge is too! i can't quit because he made me promise i wouldn't. that's my inspiration. this thing has spread far and wide now and i know he is smiling down on us all. have fun on your cruise, choose more of the lower calorie stuff and less of the heavier stuff and you'll be fine!
hugs, bee

You can get the meals you need out, but this is where the will power comes in. You can do it! Go get em, and congratulations.
I hope you manage your goal with your weight loss. I am sure you will do it with determination...good luck ;-)
Great, Sandee!!! Keep up the good work. October 10 is three weeks away so you should have the 20!!!
I am going on your diet, do you think (rhetorical Q) that a fellow my size could live on four Lean Q's? My goal it to loose the five pounds I've picked up the last couple of months.
On cruises I don't gain weight. Lots of walking and eating the seafood I like helps a lot there. But on the Bay cruises you will be eating in the clubs. Could you order ahead for Lean Q's?
Going to London middle of October for three weeks which will be lots of walking and so need to get it done by then.
..
Congratulations. Both on your weight loss and for having such a smart husband.
Sandee - Congrats again to ya'...You'll do fine on your crusin'...just watch portions and bad carb/fatty fried foods.
Your husband is a prince for knowing what to say:)
Happy Boating and PLU from SSF
You are certainly doing well with your diet Sandee! Keep on keeping on and all the very best to you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
30 is a good goal and if 20 is all you get than so be it. Big time hug.
I once managed weight loss of 40 lbs with just a dietary change (back in '01). Now that I need to lose the same sorry 40 lbs, my motivation should be the same...but it ain't :-(
Sandee, that trial by fire will go easier than you think. If you're committed, you will do it. Hell hath no fury like a woman on a mission.
I was looking for a joke at the end! But it was your real story :) Great! I'm working on it. Slowly. Hehe!
Hugs from Ohio,
I.
Good for you Sandee. Way to go and keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll be able to find some good menu choices while you're on your cruise.
It will be more difficult on the cruise, but hopefully you'll be able to find some lower calorie items on the menu there.
Great job Sandee, and thanks for sharing this info with all of us, I'm thinking of giving it a try myself!
Have a great weekend,
Janet :)
Way to go Sandee! And have fun and eat well on your cruise trip. Hugs!
Way to go, my friend! I am proud of you and I know Z loves you, no matter what! And so do I.
Big hugs, honey...
Great start Sandee and awesome job Empress Bee
Welcome to the club! I wonder if there is a sign in sheet somewhere. I'd love to find something to give to all of us as a reminder to keep making healthy choices? bee earrings? Bee bracelent? Bee sticker to put on the fridge.... I shall think on this. Christmas is coming after all!
I know you will do great on the cruise. Try doing some research beforehand by looking up the calories of food that you usually have. And opt for lighter versions. Wheat bread thins, fruit, stuff you can substitute. Just a thought....
wow..70 pounds..that is amazing! I am seriously thinking of jumping in :)
help me God..hehehe!!!
Willy needs to lose weight. The nation needs to lose weight such as a President that is weighing down the world.
