It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. It's time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We'd all like that.So here's this weeks question: What's your favorite outdoor activity?
I know you're all going to be shocked, but I'd have to say boating. Everything that goes along with boating too. Yacht clubs, activities out on the water. It's a completely different perspective out on the water than it is on land.

I love the lake. My sister use to own a vacation home on the lake in Maine. Pure Heaven! And of course, I love cruising!

What? Boating? You're kidding me?! ;) Years ago I would easily say fishing. It was time spent with my dad almost weekly. Time spent outdoors for sure is my favorite. But these days he doesn't ask me to go anymore, and we don't own a boat. So my current favorite outdoor activity is swimming in the kiddie pool with Megan. In the winter, its a bit harder to choose, but any chance I get to take a cool, brisk walk is a top favorite! Or take pictures outside, doh! That should have been my number one answer. lol.
I do love to fish, but I also find great reward in photography, and both are wonderful outdoor activities.
My favorite activity outdoors before I got older than dirt, was to ride my horse or any horse. That was the best. Those were the good days.

Years ago I had a Ocean-Cave-Beach exploration activity that I enjoyed very much...
Alas now it would be walking along the riverwalk and Ocean Beaches...and Eating/Drinking outdoors :-)

I love laying on the beach, or even near a pool, with oldies playing in the background and a good book in my hands. Getting wet every so often and drinking a tall glass of iced tea.
Eating! For some strange reason food always tastes better outside. Otherwise, I'd say meandering beside a stream or creek. I love the sound of moving water.
Taking a walk. I love to spend time by Lake Michigan, too.
I love sex outdoors.

I'm a water girl. #1 favorite is walking the beach looking at seashell. Plus, I really like fishing. There's something peaceful about fishing. Whether you catch and release or fish for food, it just is plain relaxing.
Also just sitting outside and reading a book and napping -- enjoying a beautiful view and driving around with the windows and sunroof open and exploring.
I love being at the lake, river, beach, WATER. Anything to do with water I enjoy. I love sitting outside and enjoying what summer I have here.
Pretty much anything outdoors as long as it is not WINTER and cold.

I love going to the coast and could spend all day long there. Closer to home I enjoy hiking in the forest.
Many many, but to pick a favorite; gardening I suppose, and the sense of accomplishment it gives. Except in the heatwaves, then I'm happy just to keep the plants alive.
Any day on the water is a good day. Love fishing and the freedom the water offers and sometimes the solidute.
i don't know if cruising would count but if so, yes. otherwise the pool would be my favorite.

Depends on the weather and how I'm feeling. It's between walking, tennis or reading outside.

I would say the "beach" even if I don't swim but I love staying out there..staring at the horizon :)
My favorite outdoor activites have changed and evolved (?) as I have aged like cheap wine. Climbing into/falling out of trees was awesome. Bicycling was awesome. Building snowforts and sledding was awesome. Fishing, hiking, playing golf (or at least imagining that's what I was doing) was awesome. Now that I work nights, sleeping is awesome ;-)
I'm like S. Feathers, mine too have changed. Back when I could run that was my fave. But now I play golf for my favorite outdoor activity--that involves riding instead of running or even walking.
