Old and New

Okay, got to poke fun at the other side of the aisle too...

Original Chinese Proverb:

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

New Proverb:

Give a man a welfare check, a cell phone, cash for his clunker, food stamps, section 8 housing, Medicaid, 100 weeks of unemployment checks, a 40-ounce malt liquor, needles, drugs, contraceptives, and designer Air Jordan shoes and
he will vote Democrat for a lifetime.

Vote banks drive the policies of politicians in India. USA doesn't seem to be an exception.

All I can say is that I really do hate politics. It is so sad that our country has come to these two men. Take care.

Buying votes is American as apple pie! Just the way it is. All a good politican has to do is find a legal way to do it.

Funny post. I think this election boils down to this question: Do you think the government is capable of benefiting people or do you think it should just stay out of the way? The answer needs to include both.

Our elections are supposed to be about choice, and I'm wondering when we get to make a choice. The two major candidates we have are just two sides of the same coin. It just depends on who you want to loot the treasury; Labor or Management. Some choice.

If we had as much money as the politicians do, we'd be fine.
