A Lesson in Irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is actually proud of the fact it is distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

This concludes today's lesson.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it Sandee?
If they'd had them while I was in the Army we would have been eligible.
Obama, where were you when we needed you?
(We did get a little aid from the Red Cross to pay the Mrs.' and the premi twin's hospital bill. Then some more aid with the medical bills after the service. Never for food except returned bottles, those helped at the end of the months-Eisenhower administration back then.)

BTW:
I am so sorry I have not been by lately to catch up and comment. I miss my Wednesday question day. I am swamped with books to get read and reviewed. From now on I am going to have to learn to say no, this is killing my eyeballs, lol! Hubby told me to get in to the eye doctor soon. I knew they were getting worse but I did not realize how bad until now. Oh well so much for my sob story right? lol! Big hugs to you and the family, and that sure does include Little Bit!!

That's because Liberals care more about animals than they do people. You want some fun at your next party, come out in favor of animal abortion. Never seen so many shades of red in someone's face.

I could go on a rant for days about the whole food stamp thing but instead I'll just say our government is made up of a bunch of idiots. I say Duke for president. I'm sure he could do a better job :)

Sheessh...This is plain adulterated BS. Oh wait...can we eat BS or will we be taxed on that also?

The truly funny is based on realistic irony :-)
