Is a 'Stooshe' like a Swishie? Actually not a bad song...lot's of Motown influence...could not possibly listen to an entire album[cd]whatever...but like our Icon Dick Clark used to say..."It's got a beat and I can dance to it."
Well I am in the group having not heard of a Stooshe. But the song was all right but not really my cup of tea, not that I drink tea. Have a great day Sandee. Hugs to Little Bit
I agree, very much like early Motown girl groups, nice voice, but the pre-fabbed drum-box kills the song for me. I prefer real musicians, flaws and all. That said, it's nice to hear a voice not run through an auto-tuner, and auto-pitched. Great range, good power. I'd be interested in hearing what she could do with a real band.
I hope I get to hear this song in the near future Sandee. My terrible internet service won't allow me to see this video. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.
The band's name originates from the word 'Stoosh', an urban term used to describe something that is 'expensive', but also describes 'a girl who thinks she's nicer than she is'; it can also mean being stoned or stashed away.
