Louisiana

A senior citizen in Louisiana was overheard saying ... "When the end of the world comes, I hope to be in Louisiana."

When asked why, he replied, "I'd rather be in Louisiana 'cause everythang happens in Louisiana 20 years later than in the rest of the world."

The only reason I can think of to go to Louisiana, that and Cajun cooking.

Real nice, Sandee. :) I knew Louisiana had to be good for something.

They're neighbors right across from our border. If we hear it coming we can drive over there quickly.

Ha, Ha, Ha, that is so true. Maybe it has something to do with the heat...

It's weird, but people who are born and live in New Aw leans (That's how I pronounce it) sound like we're either from Brooklyn or Canada. Then we have a mixture of Cajun French accents. But, if you go to north Louisiana, they sound like they're from Arkansas. Nola hit the nail on the head.

And the same thing happened to my ex and I once in NY. We couldn't get some people to believe we weren't from there. I think it's because of the NY and New Orleans ports. It's nice to meet someone from home. Hello.

And hilarious as usual Sandee. Your kindness and support is making me stronger everyday.

So you healing hugs must be working....

Big hug back to you~

Louisiana sounds a lot like Tasmania. Am way behind in my blog reading & frantically trying to catch up. Setting up the new site threw me behind.

Sounds like a village I once stayed in the Highlands of Scotland. I doubt if they have an internet connection yet!
