Wednesday's Question #38

It's Wednesday so that means it's question time. There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question as everyone has different opinions on any given issue.

So here's this weeks question:

Moderation in all things? Or are there exceptions?

There are surely exceptions to everything ;)

Moderation in most things, yes. Food, alcohol, coffee, cake, chicken...

but not family and love and kindness and generosity and friends and...

cats, yes... but apparently I failed that part. srsly.

Have a lovely day, hon. Big hugs xoxo

I say in every rule there is an exception and so with moderation :)

Have a nice day Sandee!

Some things are simply not good for us, regardless of how small the quantity. Yes, there are exceptions.

Most every rule has an exception, so YES to this question. There should be no moderation on love, joy, peace, generosity, smiles, hugs. Those should be used in ABUNDANCE:)

Sending you an ginormous cyber hug and lotsa love, honey...

I think that's a good golden rule for almost everything. Except love & health - everybody should get unlimited amounts of those :)

I have to answer yes to this question too. I really think there is an exception to almost all rules with the exception of crimes etc. See even the exception has an exception. Take care Sandee

Moderation itself is dilution. No question of exception.
Have a great day!

Moderation is a good thing, but there's always an exception. ;)

ALWAYS an exception... Hugs, especially!

Happy Wednesday!

Looks like Barb, Sandy, Jean, and Bee have all answered this one in the best way possible!

I don't think there should be moderation when it comes to love. The more we open ourselves to it the more our capacity to love grows, and i think the more happy we become.

PS: Stalking someone isn't love!

Great question. The way I try to do it is moderation for the body (food drink and even exercise) but unlimited in things that feed the spirit. So I vote both.

Moderation of course on some things, so yes there are exceptions!

Happy ? Wednesday ((HUGS))

Moderation in some things is good. Other things, having none is good and some an abundance is good :)

Ann on February 22, 2012 3:02 PM said...

but of course there is always exceptions

Grace on February 22, 2012 3:42 PM said...

I want to say "No exceptions" but I would be wrong ;-)

moderation in some things are a noble cause, but there are always exceptions to the rule ;o) Thanks Sandee for all the encouraging thoughts & words during my surgery recovery. ~Faythe @ GMT~

moderation is a great thing, but I will keep some of my obsessions.like doing my entrecard dropping.

Moderation? It all depends on what we are talking about, Sandee.
My cardiovascular doctor's dietitian said I could eat anything in MODERATION.
My waistline says eating in moderation is too much!

I think that's just about right oh apart from love ;-)

William K Wallace on February 23, 2012 3:44 PM said...

I agree with Steve, and there shouldn't be any moderation in the amount of beer I drink!

Rhonda on February 24, 2012 10:16 AM said...

There are always exceptions to every rule. When I read the question, I wasn't sure what the exception was here, then I saw Steve's answer. :)
