A Stable?

Every Christmas morning, when my kids were little, I read them the nativity story out of the big family bible.

When my son was old enough to talk, he asked me what a stable was.

I thought for a moment how to explain it to him in terms he could understand, then told him, "It's something like your sister's room, but without a stereo."

bahahahaha! SD3 was a bit of a pigpen when she was a child. We all 4 sisterdears shared a bedroom. Janice had a bad habit of trying stuff on and taking it off and tossing them all into a pile on her bed. Eventually the pile would get so high she had trouble finding a place big enough to curl up into to sleep!

Merry Christmas Eve, Sandee! Big hugs xoxo

Hahahaha! I would have expected the boy's room being a stable. I guess there are girls-piggies out there as well :)
Have a very Merry Christmas, Sandee!

Now wait one minute. My stable is cleaner than my house. It is much more fun to clean the barn than the darn house. Sandee, we ALL wish you a very Merry Christmas. Big hugs to Little Bit.

Brilliant! That's exactly what I'm going to start calling Amanda and Jamie's room that they share as it's spot-on!

A very Merry Christmas to you and Zane!

I'm thankful I never had a 'stable' at home, my son keeps his room clean and tidy.

I think I'd rather clean a stable than a teenagers room.

Rhonda on December 26, 2011 3:53 AM said...

Cute. And to Tony - is that any teenager's room, or just mine?
